Wesley Rosenbaum Obituary

Funeral services for Wesley Rosenbaum, 90, of Nacogdoches, will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1208 Fifth Street in Rosenberg, Texas with Dr. Stephane Kalonji officiating.

Wesley went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2021 in Nacogdoches. He was born on June 22, 1930 in Guy, Texas to Ed and Alma Mueller Rosenbaum.

Wesley married Jeanette Kuban on January 18, 1958. Together they had two children.

Wesley loved playing dominoes, watching the Houston Astros, and playing with his beloved chihuahua, Lucy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Welma Merritt, and two brothers, Edwin Giese and Nelson Rosenbaum.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette; son, Delayne Rosenbaum and girlfriend, Lynnette Olliff; daughter and son-in-law, Jana and Gary LaFour. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Kady Rosenbaum and her fiancé, Marcus Labbe; and four grandsons, Dalton Rosenbaum and wife, Jessica, Ross LaFour and wife, Paige, Tyler LaFour and fiancé, Cassie Collins, and Hunter LaFour and wife, Amanda. Wesley’s three great-granddaughters, Raquel and Giselle (Gigi) Rosenbaum, Lilly Grace LaFour, and his sister, Evelyn Vogler, also survive him. Wesley also has numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorial gifts to be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1208 Fifth St., Rosenberg, TX 77471.
