Obituary

Inurnment for Virginia Lynn, 87, of Nacogdoches, will be at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, with Bro. Jason Lott officiating.

Mrs. Lynn passed away April 1, 2022, in Nacogdoches. She was born October 4, 1934, in Shreveport, LA.

Preceded in death by husbands Edgar A. Wright Sr. and Frank A. Lynn, father and mother John D. McDonald and Merle M. McDonald, and two sisters Kathleen Davidson and Jane Ellen Wilder.  She was also preceded in death by three of her children Shawn Wright, Heather Wright and John Wright.  Survived by her son Edgar A. Wright Jr. and his wife Kay, four Grandchildren and five Great-Grandchildren.  Virginia worked at Houston ISD’s District Office and was a Homemaker for most of her life.  She enjoyed the Arts, Travel, Reading, and Journaling and being with friends and family.  Virginia was baptized in the Baptist Church.  She resided for over 30 years in Nacogdoches with the last two years as a resident of Meadowview Place where she was given loving care by the staff, the staff of Harbor Hospice, and fellow residents.
