Tolly Armistead, 56, of Nacogdoches passed away on Saturday September 11, 2021, in Nacogdoches. She was born on October 2, 1964, to her loving parents Robert and Myrna.
Tolly always had a great love for her family and children. She loved visiting her children and was ecstatic with every single call she got that let her spend quality time with Tanner and Kayley. They were her life and always precious to her. She was also incredibly involved with her church groups adopting many members of the Veritas singles group as her own kids. As an offshoot of her church family and being a slightly competitive person, she also enjoyed her fantasy football group for the past several years, two years ago she actually won the championship and the trash talking award that went with it. All these groups made a major impact in her life and made her the joy that she was. She will be greatly missed.
Tolly is survived by her mother, Myrna Pond, her stepfather, Phil Pond, her brother Robert Armistead, her brother and his wife, Richard and Mary Armistead, her son, Tanner Gaustad, and her daughter, Kayley Minifie and her husband, Carl Minifie, and her father-in-law, Pete Gaustad.
Tolly is proceeded in death by her father, Bob Armistead, her maternal grandparents, Mark and Adelle Shirley, and her paternal grandparents, Andy Armistead, Ruth Armistead, and step-grandmother, Nona Armistead.
