Teri Wilson

Mrs. Wilson passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 in Nacogdoches. Funeral Service for Teri Wilson, 65, of Nacogdoches, will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Laird Funeral Home with Brother Kyle Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Laird Funeral Home. 

Teri Lynn Wilson, 65, a lifelong resident of Nacogdoches, Texas, came into this world on September 29, 1958 to the proud parents of Calvin Wayne Wilson and Wallie Jean McVey Wilson in Houston, Texas. Teri was the sister of an older brother, Gary Wayne Wilson and younger sister Cheryl Annette Wilson Brown.

Teri achieved many accomplishments throughout her life and lived a life dedicated to her family and helping others. Teri earned her GED, peace officer license, and graduated from SFA University with a bachelor’s degree in social services. Teri went on to work for CPS, APS, and family base services. Teri had a love for life. Her passions included fishing, hunting, horses, vacationing, playing washers, and spending time with her family.

God blessed Teri with a son Danny Wayne Ellison, Jr. He was her Heaven on earth, her moon and stars. The blessings of three grandchildren Austin Wayne Ellison, Landyn Joseph Ellison, and Camryn Claire Ellison. Two great grandchildren Asher Wayne Ellison and Danny Parker Ellison. The love for her grandbabies gave a whole new meaning to being called Nana.

Surrounded by family Teri being a child of God closed her eyes to awaken to the beautiful light of Jesus Christ.
