Mrs. Jacobs passed away on November 3, 2023 in Tulsa, OK. She was born on December 13, 1962 in Amarillo, TX.
Sandra was born on December 13, 1962 in Amarillo to parents, Larry & Betty Erwin. She graduated from Palo Duro HS and attended Amarillo College. During her childhood, she was, as she described it…an “Army Brat”, traveling to many places with her family including Germany, Alaska and Ft. Hood. She worked as an administrative secretary for different churches throughout the years and lived in Amarillo most of her life until moving to Nacogdoches in 1998.
Sandra was a very devoted Christian and currently a member of Clearview Church in Claremore, Oklahoma. Her utmost faith in Christ carried her through many times during her life but she never wavered. The birth of her “miracle baby”, Eden, was exactly that….a miracle. Eden was the joy and delight in her life. She loved her endlessly and was proud of the young woman she became. When Sandra became a “Bebe”, she was overjoyed with the enchantment of grandchildren and loved and adored them beyond measure.
As Sandra watched her family grow, she continued to enjoy shopping, gardening and singing. Her beautiful voice portrayed her love of Christ to everyone around her and there was not a soul that didn’t enjoy the beautiful words she spoke in song. In true form, Sandra left recordings of her songs that the family will cherish for many years to come as they keep her memory alive in their hearts.
Sandra is survived by her daughter, Eden Bedard and husband, Nicolas of Longview; grandchildren, Mason and Avery Booker and 3 bonus grandchildren - Cale, Corbin, and Cameron Bedard; mom, Betty Erwin; siblings, Larry Erwin Jr. & wife, Tammy of Catoosa, Oklahoma and Doug Erwin & wife, Kolina of Claremore, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her lifelong best friend, Jerri James and the father of her beloved daughter Eden, James Young, who she remained close with.
She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Erwin and brother, Mike Erwin.
