Sandra Lou (Kinser) Jeanes

Sandra Lou Jeanes of McKinney, Texas passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 82. She was born in McKinney, Texas.

Sandra graduated from McKinney High School and married her high school sweetheart, Oscar. They lived in McKinney. She was an only child but her many cousins created a very tight knit extended family that she loved dearly. Sandra enjoyed spending time with family and friends talking about past adventures and things to come. Sandra made sure everything was running smoothly from meals to getting everyone to all of their choir performances and soccer practices and games. She was a devoted Christian whose heart was as kind and pure as her smile. She loved to help out the church, read, cook and bake sweet treats.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Janna Jeanes Walden and husband, Alan of McKinney, Texas; and her son, Jeremy Jeanes and wife, Kristi of McKinney; two grandchildren Caitlin and Zachary; numerous nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Jeanes, and her parents, James Boyd Kinser and Cora Kinser (Nelson).

A visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Hillcrest Christian Church, 509 S. Graves St. McKinney, Texas 75069.
