Samantha Ainsworth Obituary

A Memorial Visitation for Samantha Ann Ainsworth, 47, of Woden will be held from 6-8pm on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ainsworth passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 in Woden.  She was born on April 29, 1976 in Houston.

Samantha was the daughter of Thomas Wayne Buster and Brenda Kay Hutchison Lipford.  She was fun loving and enjoyed being in the warm sunshine, but if it got too hot, she would certainly find her way back to the air conditioning.  She was a proud mother of her two children and enjoyed talking to them daily.  Samantha was most often found at her favorite place…her front porch.  She would spend hours out there listening to her wind chimes and watching as the world moved on.  She also enjoyed fishing and camping with the kids and Dink.  On Sundays, Dink would BBQ on the grill and Samantha would make all the “fixins” to go with it.  When she ventured out, she always made a point of stopping in at Bath-N-Body Works to check out the newest candle and body spray fragrances.  She was a simple woman who was not impressed by the finer things life had to offer.  She was perfectly content with the quiet life away from the hustle and bustle of the world.  She was happiest when she had her family with her and loved them very much.  She also loved butterflies and her sweet dog, Meko.  She would always say “follow your gut” and never missed the opportunity to tell you “I love you to the moon and back”.

Samantha is survived by the love of her life, James L. “Dink” Peveto; daughter, Kristen Ainsworth Whitaker & husband, Jessy; son, James H. Ainsworth II; dad, Charles Ray Hutchison; grandchildren, Levi Wayne Henson and Everleigh Rose Ainsworth; nieces and nephews, Briana Buster, Tiffany Peveto, Tonya Simmons, Logan Peveto, Brice Davis, Matt Peveto and Jasper Peveto; sister, Angela Peveto & Tommy Burch; and great nieces and nephews, AceLynn Buster, AuBrie Young, Joshua Sanders and Dustin Sanders.
