Robbie left this world for his heavenly home and left behind a legacy of hard work, devotion, faith and unforgettable memories will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.  Robbie was a man who truly enjoyed life’s simple pleasures — spending time with family, hunting, watching sports and working with his hands.  Whether he was cheering on his favorite team from the couch or attending games in person, sports brought him joy and excitement throughout his life.

Robbie had a deep passion for hunting and treasured the time spent outdoors.  He also loved tinkering with guns and ammo, always enjoying the challenge of fixing, improving or learning something new.  He was the kind of man who could never sit still for long because he genuinely loved to work and stay busy.

Most importantly, Robbie was a man of faith who loved God and his church deeply.  His faith helped guide the way he lived his life and the way he treated others — with kindness, humility and compassion.  He found peace and strength through his relationship with the Lord and cherished the fellowship and friendships built through his church family.  His belief in God was a steady foundation in his life and a source of comfort to those around him.

Above all else, he loved his family.  The time he spent with those he cared about meant the most to him and the memories he created with them will live on forever. His strength, wisdom, humor and hardworking spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, Robbie’s legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the family he cherished so deeply.  His family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord he faithfully loved and served.

He is survived by his wife and best friend, Jenny Abel Martin; son Josh Martin & wife Brittny; daughter Loren Miguez; grandchildren, Kennedy, Neely, Knox, Jenna, Gabby and Dylan; sister, Sissy Martin and brother-in-law Butch Abel & wife Michelle.

He is preceded in death by his son, Robert Scott Martin and his parents, Robert Sr. & Coy Jo Compton Martin.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Hensley, David Scarlett, Andy Metteauer, Michael Goode, Charles Gill and Charles Smith.  Honorary pallbearers are Jim West, Kevin Faulkner, Robert Nogler and John Blankenship.
