Robbie Jean (Hensarling) Johnson

Robbie was born and raised in Nacogdoches and graduated from Nacogdoches High School.  She met Charles Ray Johnson and the two were married on December 9, 1961.  Together, they raised their children in a loving home and made many wonderful memories.  In 2005, Charles passed from this life and Robbie was saddened to say goodbye to her best friend and husband of almost 45 years.   She spent her time reading and was very active in church.  She took great delight in going to the ladies bible study as she furthered her knowledge and studies of the bible.  Robbie enjoyed being around people and her time spent after retirement was filled with volunteering at Lehmann Eye Center, Nacogdoches Medical Center Hospital and Hospice of East Texas Resale Shop.  Her good deeds of working at these places made for lasting friendship and camaraderie that only true friends bestow upon others and she was truly thankful for the bonds with each of them.

Although Robbie was blissful while spending time with her friends, her complete joy came from being with her family.  She absolutely adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and along with Stacy, Randy and their families, her heart was filled with genuine love. 

Robbie will be missed the most by her children, Stacy Pittmon & husband, Jimmy and Randy Johnson & wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Drayton Pittmon & wife, Shelbie, Derek Pittmon & wife, Elizabeth, Jennifer Smith, Abram Johnson and Ashley Tello and her great grandchildren, Katalina Olsen, Penelope Olsen and Ames Smith.  She was also overjoyed to be adding another great granddaughter to her list of blessings, Rosemary Pittmon, who is expected to arrive in July.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Johnson; parents, Arles & Laverne Murray Hensarling and brother, Charles Hensarling.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Johnson, Abram Johnson, Jimmy Pittmon, Drayton Pittmon and Derek Pittmon.
