Memorial for Penny will be held on Sunday May 2, 2021 at 2pm at Melrose Baptist Church located at 12721 State Highway 21 E, Nacogdoches, TX 75961.

Penny Graves Payne, age 66, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2021. Penny was born November 25, 1954 in Nacogdoches, TX to Pinson Graves and Mary Wells Graves.

Penny is survived by her husband of 40 years George Edward Payne of Nacogdoches, Texas, son Christopher Jason Thomas and Daughter in love Misty Marie Thomas of Paris, Texas, Grandchildren Leif Kinkaid Thomas of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Liam Payne Thomas, Gabrielle Marie Thomas, and Lincoln Jamison Thomas of Paris, Texas, sister Debra Rhnea Graves of Nacogdoches, Texas, niece Stacie Luman, nephews Jeff Luman and Jacob Luman, as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Penny was a wonderful woman who never failed to show kindness to those in need. She was a person that loved taking care of the people around her, and dearly loved her church family. Her legacy is one of faithfulness, generosity, tenacity and unconditional love.
