Obituary

Pauline Oliver, 87, of Nacogdoches, TX passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 in Nacogdoches, TX. 

Graveside service will be held 10:00 am Friday, September 23, 2022 at Blackjack Cemetery.

Pauline Oliver was born August 12, 1935 to Sam and Bessie Bass.  She grew up in the Trawick community and attended Cushing school where she enjoyed playing volleyball.  She met her husband, Heaz in the Trawick community and were married in Houston, TX August 2, 1952.  Pauline loved playing Bingo, dancing and listening to her husband play the guitar.  She raised 4 children and was involved in the International Church of Nacogdoches.  Her family will greatly miss her wonderful cooking, she was very good at making holiday meals, and family gatherings around the table very enjoyable.

Pauline is survived by her daughters, Dellar Lejeune and Sandra Fitzgerald; sons, Michael Oliver and Charles Oliver and wife Sheryl; sister, Becky Austin; brother, Monroe Bass; 19 grand children, 28 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Bessie Bass; husband, Heaz Oliver; grand daughter, Mellisa Fitzgerald; and sisters, Julie, and Mary Anderson.
