Patti Fryman Obituary

Ms. Patti Tevault-Fryman, a loving mom of two daughters and "nana" of a grandson and granddaughter, passed away on August 29, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas with her two daughters by her side.

Patti is survived by her daughters, Lori and Amy Fryman; her brother, Blake Roberts; her sister, Robin Roberts Litten; her grandchildren, Ely & Mia Bardales-Fryman; her aunt, Patsey Raby; her cousins, Joni Corley, Vicki Ball, and Lisa Ramsey; and previous husband and lifelong friend, Glenn Permenter.

Patti was born in Galveston, Texas on August 30th, 1952 to Sonny Drew Tevault & Sophie Tevault. In October of 1976, she married Thomas Morgan Fryman and then welcomed her two daughters who were the light of her life. Before she became a mother, Patti attended Stephen F. Austin State University to study Psychology and was inducted into Psi Chi Honor Society for her exceptional work.

Patti loved working outside in her garden and especially loved watching hummingbirds come to the feeders she dutifully filled with sugar water on her front porch. Patti had a deep faith in God and called upon him to intercede in the obstacles in life from the time she was a small child. In her younger years, she enjoyed country & western dancing, painting ceramics, and sewing. She was an avid reader, loved watching movies, and often went for walks and jogs around the Colosseum at SFA.
