Patricia "Pat" (Hutson) Christopher

Graveside Service for Patricia "Pat" Christopher, 73, of Nacogdoches will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday October 23, 2021 at Alazan Cemetery. Mrs. Christopher passed away on Monday October 11, 2021 in Nacogdoches. She was born on May 1, 1948 in Lufkin, Texas. Pat graduated high school at Hudson Independent School District, and attended the Massey Business College in Lufkin, Texas. She worked at Angelina College and Southland Papermill as a secretary. It was at Southland Papermill that Pat met her husband, Keith, in 1971. Eight years later, Pat and Keith became one in marriage.

She enjoyed fishing and traveling. Her favorite trips were to Colorado. Mrs. Christopher served as a member of the Red Hats for many years. Pat was a prolific Baptist and in her later years became an avid member of the 1st Baptist Church in Nacogdoches. Pat’s favorite songs were Beulah Land and I’ll meet you in the morning. She also enjoyed reciting the Lords Prayer.

Pat is survived by her loving husband Marlin “Keith” Christopher; brother, Gary Hutson, and wife Annette; sister-in-law, Carolyn Hutson; nieces, Becky Malnar, Barbara McGuire, Tamisha Plowman, Miranda Meyer, Sapphira Clark, and many great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Albert Hutson Sr., and Doris Hutson, and brother, Albert Hutson.
