Patricia Beth (Crawford) Williams

Funeral services for Patricia Beth (Crawford) Williams, 82, of Nacogdoches will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. Gerald Edwards. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williams passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024, in Garrison. She was born on October 20, 1941, in Center to the late George and Iris Crawford.

Patricia grew up in Garrison. She graduated from Garrison High School in 1960.  In addition, she attended Nacogdoches Business College. Pat worked for some time with the General Land Office in Austin. In 1972, Pat completed the Nursing Program at Angelina Junior College. She would spend the remainder of her life as a Registered Nurse, working in various departments at several locations. Pat retired from working but she maintained her nursing license that she was so proud of.

Pat met the love of her life, Harold Williams, while attending Bethel Baptist Church. Her and Harold would get married on January 27, 1962. She traveled with him to California while he was in the military. Pat had a love of genealogy, Harold said she had a room full of documents that she used in her hobby. She enjoyed sewing and patching up family’s clothes. Pat spent a lot of time in the kitchen cooking up good food for her family. Pat was a lifelong member of Bethel Baptist Church. She and Harold were very active in their service and served on many committees within the church. Pat was a member of the Christian Women’s Job Corp. She loved spreading God’s love through her time teaching bible school and Sunday school.

Pat is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harold Williams; daughter, Jill Grant; grandchildren, Derrick Grant, Dullon Grant, Albert Williams & wife, Kayla, Sheila DelConte & husband, Robert; great-grandchildren, Samuel DelConte, Wrenley DelConte, Riley DelConte, Jordan Williams, Chevy Williams; sister, Mollie Hall; and also survived by Helen Ingram, Jim Crawford, Karen Crawford, and Joe Crawford; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jeff Williams; parents, George & Iris (Monroe) Crawford; brothers, Rusty Crawford, Thurman Crawford, Harold Crawford, Monroe Crawford, Jack Crawford, Billy Crawford, and Jesse Crawford.
