Oscar Lee Jeanes

Oscar Lee Jeanes of McKinney, Texas passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 80.  He was born on June 14, 1941, to Burrow Lee and Lucille (Smith) Jeanes of McKinney, Texas.  Oscar graduated from McKinney High School and later ran his own hardware business for many years. Oscar was married to his high school sweetheart, Sandra, for 60 years. They lived in McKinney. He was a devoted Christian who always offered a helping hand to anyone in need. His stories were detailed and his kindness widespread.

Oscar is survived by his wife, Sandra Jeanes, and his daughter, Janna Jeanes Walden and husband, Alan of McKinney, Texas and his son, Jeremy Jeanes and wife, Kristi of McKinney; two grandchildren Caitlin and Zachary; numerous nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, John, and his sister, Mary Lou.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Hillcrest Christian Church, 509 S. Graves St., McKinney, Texas 75069.
