Mary Springfield

A Celebration of Life for Mary Springfield will be held at 2pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Nacogdoches Senior Center.

Mary (Poskey) Springfield, 59, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on September 8, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois. Mary had a special love for fishing and vacationing on the beach, which were favorite pastimes she enjoyed sharing with her husband, Ron.  She also found great joy during her 13 years of service at the Nacogdoches Senior Center.  Her deep affection for those around her and her dedication to creating cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts and minds of those closest to her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Doris Lord; her late husband, Henry Poskey; brother, Don Lord and sisters, Donna Lord and Betty Jackson.

Mary’s memory will be treasured by her husband, Ron; her “#1 favorite son”, William Kyle; her “#1 favorite daughter”, Kayla & husband, Justin; grandson, Hunter Criddle; and brothers, Bill Stennett & wife, Brenda and Raymond Lee Lord.

She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephew, extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Mary’s honor to her beloved Nacogdoches Senior Center at 1601 West Austin, Nacogdoches, Texas 75964.
