Mary Aaron Obituary

Mary Helen Aaron, 71, of Nacogdoches passed away on December 13, 2024, in Nacogdoches. She was born on April 12, 1953, in Zavalla. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Mary grew up in the Redland community. She later met the man she would marry, Herman Aaron. Together they raised a family together. They were married for 27 years at the time of his passing in March of 1997. Mary worked at Rock Haven Nursing Home for over 20 years as a Nurse Aide and Housekeeping Supervisor. She retired when the work was stressing her health. Mary loved her time there and was sad to have to give it up. Later in life, Mary met the man she was prepared to spend the remainder of her life with, William Pearson. During their time together, William took such great care of her. Mary enjoyed doing word search puzzles to keep her mind sharp. She was a foodie and enjoyed food of any kind. Mary’s greatest joy was spending time with family. She absolutely loved having visitors in her home. Mary wasn’t a religious person, but she believed in the Lord and is without a doubt in Heaven now with her family that has passed on before her. Mary will be missed greatly by her family who loved her unconditionally.

Mary is survived by William Pearson; children, Eugene Aaron and wife, Christine, Mary Howard and Kevin Cook, Casey McCardle, and Bubba Pearson; grandchildren, Brandy Aaron, Alvin Aaron, Michael Aaron and wife, Cinnamon, Kelley Linder and husband, William, Johnathon Howard and wife, Samantha, Monica Butler and husband, Dakota; great grandchildren, James Delacruz, Elizabeth Howard Lee, Braci Rhoudes, Kody Butler, Kaycen Butler, Kayden Knight, Jesse Howard, Haden Christian, Hoyt Christian, and Luke Aaron.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Aaron, Jr.; parents, Robert and Pauline Rhoudes; and siblings, Geneva Redden and Robert Rhoudes.
