Margarett Hollingsworth

Margarett Jane Thornton Hollingsworth, age 76, of Nacogdoches passed away on Monday March 22, 2021. She was born on September 22, 1944 in Hermitage, Arkansas to loving parents, Kyle and Onie Inez Thornton.

She will be remembered and loved by her husband of 58 years, Edward Stephen “Steve” Hollingsworth. Margarett was an avid Genealogist, loved to do crafts, sewing, and playing games with her grandchildren. She was an outgoing person who liked to travel and visit with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Steve; daughter, Beryl Renee Lancaster and husband Justin; son, Craig Lewis Hollingsworth and wife Delisa Manning; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Margarett is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Kyle and Inez; son, Burl Wesley Hollingsworth; brothers, James Thornton and Bobby Thornton; and sister, Betty Ann Martin.

Margarett will have a private graveside memorial in late spring.
