Madeline Coker Obituary

Madeline Teressa Coker, 98, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 in Nacogdoches.

Madeline was born in Brooklyn, Connecticut on October 30, 1925. She was very happy to enter Heaven where she is reunited with her husband Jack Coker. Madeline has many friends and relatives to enjoy being together with. She lived a wonderful Christian life. She loved to cook, including making wedding cakes for several years. She also loved to refinish antiques and sell them.

Madeline is survived by her 3 children, Brenda Cheek and husband Chuck, Jerry Coker and wife Rachel, and Lisa Steed and husband Rick; grandchildren, Kent Amidon, Kelly Amidon, Derek Coker and wife Michaelle; great-grandchildren, Jalen Amidon, Piper Amidon, Juliet Amidon.

She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Heart to Heart Hospice and Love Inc. of Nacogdoches.
