Kenneth Lee Smith was born into this world on October 2nd, 1960, to Hubert and Wilma Smith in McAlester, Oklahoma. He left this world much too soon on April 8th, 2022.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother and father, maternal and paternal grandparents, one stepsister and one stepbrother.
He is survived by his brothers, Billy Smith and Larry Smith; five sisters, Karen Brown, Claudia Schultz, Lora Roper, Bonnie Agee and Louise Gary; and his aunt, Vi, all of Oklahoma; as well as numerous stepsisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins. Also, one daughter, Michelle Burger and one granddaughter, Felicity Burger.
Kenneth attended school in McAlester and moved to Texas as a young man where he lived and worked long, hard hours as a flange operator and mechanic.
He enjoyed camping trips at Robber's Cave State Park where many family reunions were held. His prized possession was his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and he spent many enjoyable hours riding it.
Kenneth had a loving and generous heart and would drive long distances to help those he loved. After his mother's death he wrote, "I've always wondered where home is and now I know, home is where my mama is." So...welcome home, Ken.
