Katrenia Lynn (Eddings) Dilks

Katrenia Lynn Eddings Dilks, 55, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on February 17, 2026. She was born on December 16, 1970, in Lufkin, Texas.

Katrenia was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia Hodge and Lloyd Eddings Jr., as well as her husband, Scott Dilks.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Lloyd Scott Dilks and Sarah Nicole Dilks, who were the center of her world and the source of her confidence and greatest pride. She is also survived by her brother, Shone Eddings, along with many friends and family who will cherish her memory.

Katrenia was a devoted member of Mosaic Church, where she loved praising the Lord and living out her faith. Her love for God was wholehearted and unwavering, and she will be remembered most for her deep faith.

She was known for her incredible strength and endurance through a very difficult life. Despite hardships, she remained steadfast, faithful, and devoted, especially to her children. Above all, she was known as an amazing mother and a loyal, devoted friend.

Katrenia found joy in simple blessings: journaling her thoughts and prayers, sharing laughter over lunch with friends, and spending time with the people she loved most. Her life was a testament to perseverance, faith, and unconditional love.

Visitation will be held at Laird Funeral Home in Nacogdoches on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.

Though her time here was far too short, her faith, strength, and love will live on in all who knew her.
