Graveside services for June Parker, 87, of Nacogdoches, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Elkhart Memorial Gardens, in Elkhart, Texas.
Mrs. Parker passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021, in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was born on July 22, 1933, in Palestine, Texas.
June was born in Palestine, Texas where she spent most of her life. She married Charlie Lee Parker on December 9, 1948 and together, they raised their 2 daughters. June loved to cook and always made a point to have special dinners made for her favorite holiday dinners that she planned every year. She especially enjoyed this because it brought the family together at one place. She taught her girls many things, but the most important one is her love for Christ. There was never an excuse for not being at church on Sunday. In 2005, she lost her precious husband, and her life changed forever. About 5 years ago, she moved to Nacogdoches with Sharon, where she would spend her last days. She is survived by her girls, Pat Burnett of Austin and Sharon Parker of Nacogdoches and grandchildren, Brandon Burnett and Whitney Burnett, both of Austin. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents, James and Eva Brock and siblings, Wayne Brock, Joe Brock, James Brock and Jewel Branson.
