Judy (Bishop) McClelland

Judy McClelland, 72 of Nacogdoches, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023 in Nacogdoches.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Thursday August 24,2023 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Brother John Withem officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 am Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Shady Grove Baptist Church.  

Graveside service will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.

Judy was born in Lufkin, Texas, to Doyle Ray Bishop and Bobbie S. Posey on April 19, 1951.  She attended several schools as her father was in the Air Force.  Judy last attended Central High School and finished by getting her GED.  She worked at Red T Coil in Nacogdoches for a time and then worked at Triad Electric.  Judy enjoyed gardening, hunting, cooking, and crafts.  She loved being involved in her church.

Judy is survived by her husband, Jimmy McClelland; sons, Franklyn and William Mullan of Conroe; seven grandchildren; sister, Betty Taylor and husband, Jimmy, of Ratcliff; brother-in-law, Willie McClelland and wife, Sue; sisters-in-law, Christine Compton and Claudie McClelland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jearl Wood; and sister, Darlene Mullan.
