Jenice Marie (Woolverton) Harris, 66, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away on March 2, 2024, surrounded by loved ones in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was born on December 4, 1957, in Houston, Texas to the late Harold Delbert Woolverton and Glenn Cotton. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Jenice met Richard Allen Harris while they both worked for Southwestern Bell. The two were soon wed and would spend over 40 years completely head over heals in love with one another. Jenice retired from Southwestern Bell after a long career. She had an inquisitive mind with a love for STEM. Jenice would spend her free time making jewelry and other crafts. She found great joy buying and selling items on EBAY. Jenice was an animal lover and truly cared deeply for their cats through the years. She loved her family big, and she will be greatly missed!!
Jenice is survived by her mother, Glenn Cotton; brother, Robert Cotton and wife, Danielle; sister, Linda Halbert and husband, Mike; 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Allen Harris; and her father, Harold Delbert Woolverton.
