Jeffrey Wright, 60, of Nacogdoches, passed away on June 11, 2024. He was born on November 19, 1963, in Richmond, Indiana, to the late Robert Wright and Carlie Lowe.
Jeff “Bodeen” Wright, a carpenter by trade, lived every day to the fullest and never failed to see the beauty of this world. With an uncanny ability to reach people he never met a stranger. Humble and happy with a guitar in his hand and a song from his heart, he spent his life pursuing his true passion “painting pictures with words.” Jeff was a true troubadour that only sought to bring happiness to those around him and though he now rests with the Lord, his music will live on through his family, friends, and many fans of The Outlaw Rebel Band.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Jana Wright of Nacogdoches, Texas; daughter, Christine Cline and husband, Joseph of Waterman, Texas; sons, Scott Wright of Center, Texas, and Sterlin Williams and wife, Jenifer of Nacogdoches, Texas; brothers, Joe Wright and wife, Liza of Timpson, Texas, John Wright of Huxley, Texas, and Jack Wright of Center, Texas; grandchildren, Hailley and Korey Byrd, Tyler Williams, Austin Williams, Savana Williams, Zoe Cline, Acesa Cline, and Callahan Wright; great-grandchildren, Dhalton Rodes, Aubrie Byrd, and Tinsley Byrd.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carlie Lowe; father, Robert Wright; brother, Jimmy Wright; and sister-in-law, Chevy Wright.
