Jayson Hickman

Funeral services for Jayson Hickman, 17, of Nacogdoches, will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Laird Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Clifton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Laird Funeral Home. 

Jayson Dylan Hickman was born on February 10, 2004. He loved his family and loved his friends. He had an old soul. He loved to collect and listen to old records. He loved fast cars and loved to draw. He attended Woden High School and was very excited about college and his future. He had the biggest heart and loved to provide for others. Jayson was a strong protector of anyone he loved. "He will cover you with feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge." Psalm 91:4

He is survived by his brother, Skylar Hickman, sister, Alexis Pipes, mother, Amber Salas, father, Frank Rudisill, sister, Avery Rudisill, stepfather, Carlos Salas, sister, Jazmin Salas, grandfather, "Pa" Dale Cole, grandparents, Inez and Enedelia Salas, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Proceeded in death by his Grandmother "Nanny" Barbara Cole and Uncle Chad Scroggins.

Serving as pallbearers are Skylar Hickman, Dale Cole, Carlos Salas, Michael Cole, Aubrey Fenton and Sam Corman.
