Greer Melissa (Kimes) Soles, 75, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away on March 25, 2024, in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was born on September 4, 1948, in Houston, Texas, to Luther Lee and Eddie Sue (Shaw) Kimes. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery, in Martinsville, Texas.

Greer is survived by her mother, Eddie Sue Kimes; daughter, Melissa Jones and husband, Rickey; brother, Preston Kimes; grandchildren, Crystal Jones and boyfriend, Bryan, Hillary Turney and husband, Klint, Trevor Jones and girlfriend, Angelica, and Katelyn Jones and boyfriend, Maguire; great grandchildren, Autumn Jones and Waylon Jones.

She is preceded in death by her father, Luther Lee Kimes; and brother, Alton Kimes.
