Funeral services for Gaylon Bailey, 76, of Chireno, TX, will be held on at 10:00 am, Friday, January 24, 2025, at Laird Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm til 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Bailey passed away on January 17, 2025 in Jasper, TX. He was born on November 19, 1948 in Orange, TX.

Gaylon grew up in Nacogdoches. He graduated from Chireno High School. Gaylon met the love of his life, Rosie Fussell, in 1967. They were married for 57 years. Gaylon enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He always looked forward to their annual trip to Branson. Gaylon loved his family very much.

Gaylon is survived by his loving wife, Rosie Bailey; son, Brian Bailey; grandchild, Elizabeth Brown; great-grandchild, William Brown; sister-in-law, Linda Fussell; and nephew, Patrick Tyson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mildred Faye (Williams) Bailey; brother, Gary Bailey; and nephew, Gordon Bailey.
