It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Hayes Harrison II, 72. Frank passed away at home in Nacogdoches, Texas, on Monday May 24, 2025. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday June 3, 2025, at Bethel Cemetery in Appleby, Texas at 10:00am.

Frank Hayes Harrison II was born on November 15,1952 to the late William Robert Harrison and Virgil Alice Matteson in Casper, Wyoming. Frank moved frequently with his family while growing up but settled in Nacogdoches, Texas with his wife Linda Harrison in 1978 after graduating from Southwest Texas State University with a master’s degree in Speech Pathology. Frank was a partner in Speech and Language Services of East Texas for many years until his retirement. His passion was working in rural school districts all over southeast Texas providing services as a Speech Pathologist to children.

Frank’s professional life helping people mirrored his personal life where he was known for his kind heart and generous spirit. He helped all he could, when he could. Frank volunteered his time for many years as a proud member of the Nacogdoches Jaycees, The Improved Order of Red Men and with the East Texas Motorcycle Enthusiasts.

Frank was devoted to his wife Linda for 52 years after marrying on December 28, 1973, in Houston, Texas.

Frank is survived by his wife Linda Harrison of Nacogdoches, his sister Ellen Harrison of Nacogdoches, his brother William Robert Harrison of Nacogdoches, his sons William Christopher Harrison of Dallas, Texas and Casey Joe McIver of Santa Fe, Texas, and his grandchildren William Landon Harrison, Landry Travis Harrison, Amanda Elizabeth McIver and Casen Alexander McIver.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents William Robert Harrison and Virgil Harrison.
