Family services will be held at a later date for Emmaree "Jerry" McDaniel Cook. Mrs. Cook passed from this life on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 in Henderson at the age of 88. She was born on October 7, 1937. Emmaree spent over 20 years as a clerk at Pasadena Police Department until her retirement. She then made her way closer to her children, when she settled down in Harleton, Texas. She loved East Texas for many reasons, one of which was the ability to grow just about anything. She enjoyed being outside with her plants and animals.
However, her greatest joy came from her children and grandchildren. Her heart overflowed with happiness and her memory was full of moments brought on by being surrounded by those she loved the most. She will be remembered for her laughter, love and loyalty but most importantly, her devotion to her family.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her children, Missy Williams and husband Rex, Bonnie Risinger and husband Danny Ray and Robert Cook; grandchildren, Colby Cook, Ryan Williams, Alexis Strong, Levi Risinger, Keith Risinger, Dustin Risinger, Jasmine Cook and Jordan Cook and 15 great grandchildren. She was also expecting her very first great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Willine McDaniel and son, Rodger Cook.
