Debra Bonds Obituary

Memorial services for Debra Lynn Bonds, 60, of Nacogdoches, will be held at a later date.

Debra Lynn Bonds entered her Heavenly Home on Friday, June 11, 2021, where she resides with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Debra was born to her loving parents, Benny Ray Teets and Helen Ruth Harper Teets on August 10, 1960, in Galveston, Texas. Debra grew up in Houston, Texas, where her love for singing and dancing became deep-rooted in the person she was.

Debra met her beloved husband, Tony Howard, in Nacogdoches, Texas. They fell deeply in love and were married on July 4th for 38 wonderful years! Tony took in Debra’s son, Dwayne Bonds, and treated him as his own. The couple loved Dwayne and raised him to be the man he is today. Debra loved her son with her whole heart! In her spare time, you could find Debra working with her delicate hands on a new crocheting project, painting, or drawing. Art was her burning passion and she delighted in working with bright and lively colors. Be that as it may, candy apple red was her most favorite color of all which just demonstrated how outgoing and passionate her personality was!

Debra loved to sing and dance! She would go out to Texas Gold Rush and Caraban and have the time of her life. She was the life of the party, making everyone she talked to smile! There wasn’t a person who met Debra, that didn’t leave with a smile and a piece of her big heart with them. There wasn’t a child who didn’t adore Debra and she doted on every child like it was her own. Debra was such a beautiful person inside and out. There are no words to describe the mark she left in this world and the great loss her loved ones are feeling.

“Momma, you are and will always be loved and missed. You are everything. I can’t with my whole heart believe that you are gone. Rest in peace, my beautiful Angel.”

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
