Memorial service for Corrie Lang, 42, of Nacogdoches, will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Laird Funeral Home. Ms. Lang passed away June 28, 2022, in Nacogdoches. She was born July 3, 1979, in Memphis, TN.

Corrie Johnson Lang, 42, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away on June 28, 2022 in Nacogdoches.

Corrie was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Deeann Moffatt and Barry Johnson on July 3, 1979. She went to high school at Broken Arrow High School, graduating in 1997. Her interest in hair and makeup design led her to pursue a cosmetology license at different academies in multiple states. Corrie’s love of traveling, combined with passions in both nature and music, guided her on countless road trips to visit national parks and see concerts across the United States. She had a natural instinct for caregiving, and along with her affection for animals drove her to want to look after anything that was in need. Her creative skills and artistic abilities allowed her to personalize any and all gifts or holiday and house decorations with a fantastic eye for detail. Above all else, Corrie felt her greatest accomplishments were her two sons, Morgan and Cameron.

Corrie is survived by her children, Morgan and Cameron Lang of Edmond, Ok; brother, Justin Odom of Tulsa, Ok; and mother, Deeann Moffatt of Nacogdoches, Tx.

Corrie is preceded in death by her father, Barry Johnson.
