Clarence Casper, 65, of Nacogdoches, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 in Nacogdoches.
A memorial service for Mr. Casper will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Laird Funeral Home with Brother Cecil Chessher officiating.
Mr. Casper was born in Nacogdoches on July 8, 1955 where he grew up and attended high school. He was active in the Nacogdoches FFA and graduated in 1975. Clarence met the love of his life, Elizabeth “Kae” Smith, in Cleveland, TX. They were married in Liberty County on November 10, 2001 and were able to spend 7 wonderful years together. Clarence loved reading, especially studying his bible. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Clarence was fortunate to room with a dear friend, Jimmy Owens who has also passed on, and continued the friendship with Jimmy’s niece, Tricia Smith. His best friend at Stallings Court was Paul Turnham. All of his friends, as well as the staff would say that he was the life of the party.
Clarence is survived by his sisters; Linda Dasher, Geneva Reppond, Lillian Jones, Alma Butcher and husband Ricky, brothers; John Casper and wife Pat, Dennis Casper, and Frank Casper and wife Tina. He is also survived by all of his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Thomas and Barbara Casper, his wife Kae Casper, and brother Jack Casper.
