Cheyenne Kay Russell

Funeral service for Cheyenne Kay Russell, 26, will be held at 4pm on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Laird Funeral Home with Bro. Homer Murray officiating.  

Cheyenne passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 in Tyler.  

On a beautiful summer day, July 29, 1998, in Wichita, Kansas, our beautiful Cheyenne Kay Russell came into this world.  She was the baby of four children.

To know her was to love her.  Her fiery spirit matched her long red hair.  She loved unconditionally and was unapologetically herself.  She truly left her sparkle wherever she went.

She became a mom in 2021 and that was her greatest title.  She wore it well.  She shined brighter being a mommy.  Her babies were her world.

Cheyenne was loved by many.  She indeed was the crazy glue that held our family together.  Cheyenne was taken away from us too soon.  We will forever miss her.

Cheyenne is survived by her precious children, Gianna and Joziah; parents, Allen & Jennifer Russell; siblings, Aspen Russell & partner Chad Moreland; Zach Russell and Andrew Russell & wife Camryn; grandparents, Judy Russell and Paul & Brenda Lawrence; nieces, Gracyn and Chaylee and nephews, Devin, Connor, Macoy and Maverick.  She is also survived by her beloved aunts, uncles, a host of cousins and numerous friends who became family.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Big Al Russell.
