Obituary

Funeral services for Betty Bell, 96, of Nacogdoches, will be held at 11am, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Westside Missionary Baptist Church with Pastors Jackie Yates and Jerry Wilson, officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 11am, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Westside Missionary Baptist Church. 

Betty Jenkins Bell passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, in Nacogdoches, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born on October 29, 1926, in Nacogdoches County, Texas to Thomas (Dove) Jenkins and Eva Trawick Jenkins.

On September 16, 1941, Betty married Teddy Bell and they had one child.

She was a member of the Westside Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She loved planting flowers, nature, but most of all her family.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her nine siblings.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Irene Boehmer; 3 grandchildren, Rodney Watson, Janell Watson and Deanna Nichols; 3 great grandchildren, Blake Nichols, Elizabeth Watson and Quinn Watson and several nieces and nephews.
