Angela Dee Drinkard

Angela Dee Drinkard, 65, of Nacogdoches, passed away on April 7, 2026, in Nacogdoches. She was born on October 2, 1960, in Lufkin to Charles Gene and Agnes Luna Drinkard. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church officiated by Monsignor James Young. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Laird Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 6:00pm.

In her early school years, Angela attended St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Lufkin before the family moved to Nacogdoches. Angela graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1978. She was employed at International Paper in Mansfield, Louisiana. Angela loved her grandchildren and spent all of her free time with them. She loved baseball and watching them play. Their games gave her so much happiness. There was nothing she would not do for them. They were her world and what she lived for. They were her pride and joy, always in her heart. She will be missed so much.

Angela is survived by her mother, Agnes Luna Drinkard; daughter, Stephanie Drinkard; grandchildren, Sadaejah, Shaughnessi, Dizaiah, Syambria, and Sajdream; great-grandson, Kacey Uzaiah Dee; brother, Robert Drinkard; sister, Selina Forsythe & husband, Wayne; nephew, Charles Drinkard & wife, Charlotte; niece, Christina Almanza & husband, Junior; 4 great-nieces; 2 great-nephews; uncles, Paul Luna and Leslie Luna & wife, Kayla; and her very faithful friend, Elorna.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Gene Drinkard; brother, Charles (Randy) Drinkard; grandparents, Joe Frank & Trudy Drinkard, Eli & Laney Luna; aunts, Marie Luna, Debbie Dupree, & Erni Luna; uncles, Joe F. Drinkard, Jr., Matt Luna, and John Luna.

Serving as pallbearers will be Devin Dunn, Mike McClain, Rodney Rodrigues, Mark Rodrigues, Robert Drinkard, and Darrell Luna.
