Alan Ray "Big Al" Stephens, 67, of Princeton, Texas, was called home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 1, 2025.
Alan was born in McKinney, Texas, on November 30, 1957, to his parents, Billy Earl and Delia Pearl (nee Mounger) Stephens.
During his earthly life, Alan worked in his father's forklift repair business, and for many years as a fleet vehicle maintenance mechanic for Collin County. He was a member of Cowboy Church of Collin County.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Billy Don "Donnie" Stephens and wife, Pam, niece Courtney Unkefer and husband, Hunter, nephew Levi Stephens and wife, Brittany, grand-nephew Sterling, and grand-nieces Hattie and Stella, a host of family members and friends, and chihuahua, Little Bit, his beloved and constant companion.
Big Al will be remembered for his love of Jesus Christ and His Church, his kind and helpful nature, his gift of gab, and his sense of humor.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Cowboy Church of Collin County, 2800 FM 3364, Princeton, Texas, on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
